Our goal to realize special kitesurf boards in the high-end segment
led us to set up our manufacturing process over several years of development.

It was very important for us not to offer another mass product from the far east, but to develop handmade products made with passion and to put our heart and soul into these unique boards.

The properties from the special manufacturing processes, the board´s shape and the materials being used,
engage and create a sensible driving pleasure.

Our production is characterized by uniqueness. We involve many individual production steps, specially designed for us.

Everything begins with planning

The CAD/CAM technology allows us to create our components digitally, test them extensively and then start production.

Paulownia

We use the well-known material Paulownia from the so-called bluebell tree.

The wood properties of paulownia are lightness at high stiffness.

Best Quality

First, the wood is inspected and then sorted.

Carefully selected wood is then glued together and forms the blank.

THE M1 AKA. THE GAMECHANGER TAKES FULL ADVANTAGE OF A HIGH- PERFORMANCE CARBON FIBER THAT OPTIMIZES BOARD TORSION AND GIVES IT IT´S GOOD QUALITY.

Multiple layers with different fiber orientations allow us to accurately determine stiffness, effective direction and torsional forces.

Our innovative way of vacuum infusion sets new standards!

The resin percentage remains extremely low and therefore the carbon fiber volume stays very high.

The whole process is exposed to a high temperature, which specifically hardens the material in a furnace.

This step of manufacturing is crucial to the high-performance and persistence of our boards!

Handcraft

Many hours of precise handwork have been invested into each board!

They are extremely light-weight, compact and finely machined with the 5-axis CNC technology.

The "HEVIGE" lettering is milled through the handles with special carbon milling tools.
